SINGING LESSONS

Help! I can't sing? Can I still have lessons? Answer: Don't worry. Regardless of where you start, as long as you put in the work you will improve as a singer! Singing is a wonderful thing and the fact that you're here reading this shows that you have the most important ingredient already: the love of music and singing.

I'm too inexperienced / too old / I think I'm tone deaf. Answer: None of that matters. Do you want to sing? Then you're halfway there! And remember you can always book a free 15 minute introductory chat if you have any questions before you book a lesson.

Where do lessons take place? Answer: All lessons take place online via the Skype platform. You will be sent a link with joining details once your lesson is booked. No login is needed to join via laptop. If joining on a smartphone or tablet, you will need to download the Skype app. Regardless of whether you're connecting via laptop, tablet or phone, earphones with a microphone will usually ensure that you get the best sound. And connecting on Wifi is always recommended for best quality video and audio.

How do I prepare for my first lesson? Answer: Please prepare 2-3 different songs or phrases from songs that you would like to work on. Our philosophy is that if you are singing songs that you love, you will feel more inspired and motivated! Please also find a quiet place for the lesson where you can work undisturbed. You will need a device with a camera. Most people prefer to connect from a laptop or tablet with headphones. The larger screen makes it a little easier to follow certain instructions, and the headphones ensure that you get the best sound and that the teacher can hear you clearly.

Do you offer group lessons? Answer: We are not currently offering group lessons, however there might be group masterclasses offered in the future - please keep your eyes peeled.

Can I record the lesson? Answer: You are not allowed to record the entire lesson. However if there are particular exercises in the lesson that you would like to record, that is ok. But please ask first before recording.

Can you teach my child singing / how old do I have to be for singing lessons online? Answer: We teach children as well! It very much depends on the child whether they are able to engage with an online lesson, but shorter lessons work better for younger children. The youngest we have taught online to date was 7 years old. You can always schedule a 25 minute lesson and see how that works before committing to additional or longer lessons. Please note that minors may only manage the booking of services with the consent of an adult, parent, or guardian. By providing consent, the adult, parent, or guardian assumes responsibility for overseeing and authorizing any associated payments. Minors are permitted to handle the booking process but are not authorized to make payments without the explicit approval of the responsible adult, parent, or guardian.

BOOKINGS

I need to cancel / move my lesson. Answer: If you have created a login under My Account you easily can move or cancel the lesson under My Bookings. Please be aware that there is a 24h cut-off time for making changes to your booking. If you do not have an account, please get in touch no later than 24h before your scheduled time to move or cancel your lesson. Payments may be due in full for any lessons cancelled or moved within 24h of the scheduled slot.

How do I book one or several lessons? Answer: You can book individual lessons by clicking the Book Lesson button and choosing a time and date that works for you. You will then be directed to the payment page. For multiple lessons, go to the Subscriptions & Packages page and select your preferred frequency and whether you prefer 50 or 25-minute lessons. We currently offer 4, 2 and 1 lessons a month in our subscription plans. Our Packages are currently available in sets of 5 or 3 lessons. When buying a lesson package or subscription, you will be prompted to create a login to the My Account area. This is where you will select timeslots for your upcoming lessons, up to two weeks in advance. When you get to the payment page, it will give you an option to pay either with your subscription or package. The booking system will keep track of the amount of lessons you have left. If you are interested in regular lessons, we recommend our subscriptions as they offer the biggest savings.

What happens after I book a lesson? Answer: You will receive an email confirmation with a receipt and a link to join the Skype lesson. In case of recurring lessons, the link will stay the same. If joining via your phone or tablet, you will need to download the Skype app.

How long is my lesson package valid for? Answer: The Trio and Mini-Trio packages (3 lessons) are valid for 2 months. The Quintet and Mini-Quintet packages (5 lessons) pack are valid for 3 months.

How do I manage my subscription or package? Answer: When purchasing a subscription or package, you will be prompted to create a login. You will then be able to manage your account details and payments as well as book lessons by logging into My Account. You can access My Account by clicking the Login logo in the page header, or by clicking My Account at the bottom of the page.

What timezone is displayed in the booking calendar? Answer: The displayed timezone is CET (Central European Time), also known as GMT+1. We are working on getting it to show your local timezone as well.

PAYMENTS

How do I pay for lessons? Answer: All single lesson, subscriptions and packages are paid upfront via the website. *NEW* Lessons can now also be paid for via bank transfer, allowing for payments in USD, GBP, SEK and Euros. Payments for subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Lesson prices are listed in Euros. Payments and refunds are securely processed via the Stripe or PayPal platform.

*NEW* Can I pay in my currency / via bank transfer? Answer: You now have the option of paying subscriptions, packages and single lessons via bank transfer in the following currencies: British pounds (£), Swedish Krona (SEK), US Dollars ($), Euros (€). Please get in touch via email for bank transfer details. Once the payment has been received, you will receive the lesson credit under My Account. The price in different currencies for a 50 mins lesson: EUR €58 SEK 650 USD $63 GBP £49 The price in different currencies for a 25 mins lesson: EUR €36 SEK 405 USD $39 GBP £31

Do you do refunds of single lessons, subscriptions and packages? Answer: Yes. If cancelled more than 24 hours before a single scheduled lesson, your purchase will be refunded in full. You may be charged in full if cancelling less than 24 hours before. Lesson packages will be refunded in full within 3 months of date of purchase if all lessons are still unused. We reserve the right to charge the full price for lessons already attended if you cancel your package before you have used up all your lessons. In order to cancel a package you need to get in touch via email as it cannot be cancelled via My Account. Subscription plans auto-renew monthly. Please cancel before your renewal date to ensure that you do not get charged for the next month should you wish to not continue with the subscription. Any unused lessons in the current month's billing cycle will not be refunded. Please also note that you need to use up your monthly lessons before the next billing cycle begins, as they will not carry over to the next month. We also offer a satisfaction guarantee - if you are not happy with your lesson for any reason, please let us know why and we will refund you in full for that particular lesson. There is a 14-day cooling off period for all our services. Please see the Terms & Conditions for full details.

Do you sell gift cards? Answer: Yes we do! Please note that gift cards can only be applied to single lessons, not packages or subscriptions. Gift cards expire after 12 months. They cannot be exchanged for cash.
